PORTIA and CASSIUS are an adorable bonded pair of sibling kittens. CASSIUS is a cream-colored Siamese-mix male kitten with light brown tabby points and pretty blue eyes. PORTIA is solid gray with green eyes, but she also has some faint tabby markings. Portia was the smallest one of her litter, and the only girl with four brothers! Cassius is very playful and loves just about any toy. He is a little reserved around people but does come out of his shell once he is comfortable. He will cuddle with his foster humans and give everyone the sweetest purrs. Portia is also very playful, and very fond of laser pointers. She adores Churu cat treats, and that’s pretty much all it takes to win her over. She is becoming more social as she gets older and really loves being played with. Cassius and Portia are bonded, and love snuggling with each other...they will absolutely melt your heart!

PORTIA and CASSIUS have been altered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.

Our cats can be seen at Petsmart on Chad Drive and on Willamette St, at Petco near Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd, seven days a week during normal business hours. We do have adoption counselors available on weekends or by appointment or from 12:30-2:30pm, Sat.-Sun.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
