Tater is a total snuggle bug! He loves pets and cuddles and is a very sweet boy. He’s quite clumsy at times and has been known to tumble off the couch in the midst of a bout of happy feet. Tater has the sweetest little smile and makes the happiest, cozy snores while sleeping. He loves all toys that he can chew and gnaw on but hasn’t shown any interest in shoes or other non-dog items. 

Tater is eager to please and truly wants to be a good boy. He responds well to verbal praise and of course treats! He is very food motivated which is compounded by the fact that he is still underweight and loves to eat. Even though he may be perpetually hungry, he’s gentle when he takes treats. Tater lives with two teens and a resident pup in his foster home. He gets along well with everyone and just loves attention.

He walks well on the leash and doesn’t seem bothered by other dogs, squirrels, or bunnies. He is working on house training and has had few accidents when kept to strict schedule. He continues to work on crate training but so far he hasn’t been the biggest fan. 

Tater is pure joy! You can see his happiness all over his sweet little face. He seems so grateful to have a safe and loving home, which is exactly what he deserves. He would thrive in a home where he gets lots of attention, with a consistent schedule, investment in gentle training, possibly another dog friend, older kids, and plenty of chew toys! In return, Tater will bring his snuggles and love for life to brighten your home!
