CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies. All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on all age appropriate vaccinations & preventatives, as well as microchipped & altered.

I am learning to trust humans. I need people with understanding and patience. I like attention when I am ready for it, but don't like to be surprised. I would do best in a home without small children (who might surprise and scare me).  A stranger petting me is scary. If you brush me too long, I might act out. A fenced yard would be a plus. I don't like being messed with. Putting on a collar or harness or leash is scary.  You might want to wear a glove to leash me to be safe. Oh, I am a terrier so I like to bark at and chase squirrels, be ready for it when we go on walks. Your groomer may need to muzzel me unless they have the magic to make me feel safe. 

CARE is all-volunteer & foster-based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter or facility & do not have employees monitoring inbound applications & emails. Applications are reviewed by each animal's volunteer foster home. Thank you for your patience!
