My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience, demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.

A volunteer writes: Max has strategies for playtime. Trying to grab two toys at the same time with mixed results, it's clear that whatever he lacks in effectiveness, he readily makes up for in heart and cuteness. Max really loves to play and while pipe cleaner feathers are his number one at the moment, he'll happily chase a toy mouse with the same enthusiasm. He shared all of this with me after introducing himself by leaning his neck up into my hand. Max had been happily chatting out to everyone in the room from his Kuranda bed perch when I was in Adoptions. He's friendly and doing his best to be sure everyone knows where to find him. When I opened his condo door, Max immediately nuzzled my hand for a bit before hopping down in search of more pets and playtime. Doing his absolute best to peer down and say hi to his downstairs neighbor, he really likes to stay busy and be in the mix! Max was brought to us after his person passed away. Settling into the Care Center has come pretty easily to Max but we know that a forever home is where he belongs.
