How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by a community member.

Why Frost might be the one for you:
Frost is a big guy who is ready to start family dog duties but knows he needs more education and training. Frost needs to learn his P's and Q's on how to be a good family member. Frost is ready if you are. We have trainers and resources to help you with tips and techniques for working with dogs like Frost. Frost gives every indication that he will learn quickly and has the instincts to understand why he needs to learn. He is a pleaser. Frost will want space for running and playing. He will want lots of walks where he can meet people and other critters. He will want to cuddle next to his people and fall asleep. . He will want to learn commands and tricks. Frost is a work in progress. He is looking for a warm, dog savvy household with patient and understanding people who know that he is worth the training investment because the reward will be a well behaved companion who will serve and protect his people with loyalty and love . Does loyal and loving sound good to you? If so, come to our shelter and meet Frost. You can also meet our dog experts who can give you good information for enjoying a dog like Frost .

At SDHS:

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
