What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Milo is a loving, snuggly, happy dog. He has a lot of energy outside, and sleeps and snuggles inside. His favorite place is curled up beside a human on a loveseat or bed. If he’s missed us, he might curl up in our lap or chest. He thinks he’s smaller than he is! He has a gotten a very large amount of training, especially for loose leash walking. He loves all people and most dogs, though gets really worked up over new people. It can be hard to have guests over who don’t love dogs, as he will spend the first hour demanding pets and trying to lick their face.
The reason we are looking to rehome Milo, is we recently had a baby. Unfortunately, Milo is not behaving safely towards the baby, and extensive training and meds have not made a lot of progress. We have been living with the in-laws while coming home daily for periods of training. It absolutely breaks our heart, but we need both Milo and baby to be happy and safe.
We will pay all costs for his lifetime (food, medical, etc)
