My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Steve is goofy, sweet hound boy who is looking for a place he will be loved forever. He is really having a hard time adapting to the shelter environment. Being surrounded by rambunctious, noisy other dogs has his constantly on edge, so he is looking for a way out! Steve is a very sweet, playful guy who loves to go for long line walks, work for treats, and explore new places. He may need a slow introduction to new people, but it doesn't take much to be on this guy's side.

The best kind of home for Steve:
Steve is looking for a home where he can be the main attraction. He does well with more laid back other dogs, but Steve prefers to be the only pup. He lived with cats and children previously, so he should have no trouble adapting to them in a home. Steve needs a home where he can just hang out an do his own thing without being forced into affection. He would rather play than be affectionate!
