My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Sweet Bill is just seven months old, recently neutered and ready to find his forever family.  We think he's mostly Labrador with a smattering of we don't know what.  Dogs, people, life in general are Bill's favorite things.  He also has a brother Big Boy who needs home too.  He is a very playful and wonderfully  silly puppy. Call Suzanne at SNIPPP for more info (530) 335-2192

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption contract, a home check, veterinary references, and an adoption fee of $75. Completing an application does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt from SNIPPP; our primary concern is with finding the most appropriate homes for the animals in our care. You may request an application from us by telephone, mail, or email.

Go meet their pets

You can see our pets available for adoption "in person" at our adoption events. We try to be at Petco in Redding at 1603 Hilltop Drive from 11 to 3 at least one Saturday of every month (call 530 336-6006 to verify our schedule). We look forward to seeing you there! If you have applied and are approved as an adopter, we can arrange for you to meet individual pets you may be interested in at other times, too.

More about this rescue

SNIPPP is an all-volunteer, non-profit, no-kill rescue organization that started in early 2007. Our main goals are to:
*encourage pet owners to spay and neuter their companion animals through education and a voucher payment system, and
*provide resources to help companion animals remain in loving homes
*offer companion animals in need safe, loving foster homes with our volunteers while we find the best permanent home for these pets.

We welcome volunteers!! We especially need more FOSTER HOMES, and financial donations are always appreciated. If you are skilled with computers, fence-building, dog training, fundraising, grant writing, record-keeping, animal grooming, newsletter production, pet transportation, or coordinating adoption events, please contact us to get involved in this worthwhile effort. We look forward to hearing from you!
