Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Mama. She is an Alaskan malamute. She is on the small side probably about 60 pounds right now. She was very undernourished when we got her. We are guessing she’s about a year or two old. We pulled her out of the shelter and she had puppies the very next day. She will be ready late. October early November. She is super sweet loves all humans. Stay tuned as we get to know her better once the puppies are weaned.

The way the adoption works is you complete an application, which we review. If you have had previous pets (like a cat or other dogs) we do a vet check to ensure they are up to date on shots etc. Then the last step is a home visit to basically ensure there are no obvious dangers for the dog in the home. The fee is $100.

More about this rescue
Releashed Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing working dogs from high-kill shelters, rehabilitating those that need training and rehoming them into permanent loving homes.
Releashed Rescue will provide food, shelter, basic necessities, medical treatment including shots and spay or neuter, and work to train any animal going through our program. Our goal is to find the right family to love and care for the animals for their lifetime.
Releashed Rescue has a vision of a world where animals are not killed because they are inconvenient. Instead, we hope to educate the public about pet over-population, spay , neuter, humane treatment of animals and how animals can enrich the lives of people including the elderly, children and those with disabilities.
