My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gloria!

Found as a stray in Kentucky, Gloria has a story full of resilience. This beautiful, one-year-old girl is ready for a fresh start in a loving home. Coming to NJ on November 17th. While we don’t know exactly how long she’s been on her own, Gloria is understandably a little shy at first. But with a gentle approach, patience, and some time to decompress, she quickly reveals her affectionate, loyal nature.

We believe Gloria would thrive with another confident dog to help guide her as she learns. Patient older kids would be a wonderful bonus for her as well.

Gloria will come spayed and up-to-date on all vaccines, fully prepared for her next chapter. If you’re willing to give her the safe space she needs to settle in, she’ll reward you with endless love and companionship.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
