Meet MOOSE
MOOSE- This young fellow is 4 yrs old and has had a lot of changes in his short life. His family has moved several times and he is struggling with the new infant in the family too. He has not had other dogs in the family to interact with so it will be important that he find a home with a doggie buddy that is well socialized and friendly. Moose is better with women than men so a lady household with another pet would be best. He does hide his toys and is possessive of them but that might be improved on with another friend to keep him company...but toys should be supervised and always trade for a treat if he is protective. Praise does wonders for a dog like him and high value treat rewards for good behavior...Scheduling neuter

Kentucky Dachshund Rescue requires an adoption application. You must give three personal references as well as the name of your vet. A home visit is also required to adopt. Fees vary depending on the dog. WE ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS THAT ARE FROM A 6 HR DRIVE FROM GEORGETOWN KY
