JUNIOR is the typical dachshund...he loves to eat...his owner, is currently in the hospital and has no family to care for Junior...so he was boarded at the vets office . The owner has to have surgery with extended care so he has decided though he loves Junior a lot , its best to find him a permanent home. Junior is 4 yrs old...He is up to date on all vaccines too and is very happy and socialized. Currently in foster care with other dachshunds and is ready for a home of his own. He is a bit overweight at 19 lb.

Kentucky Dachshund Rescue requires an adoption application. You must give three personal references as well as the name of your vet. A home visit is also required to adopt. Fees vary depending on the dog. WE ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS THAT ARE FROM A 6 HR DRIVE FROM GEORGETOWN KY
