Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Kitty is a beautiful one-year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on October 12, 2024 along with her best friend (Bunny) who is most likely her sister. These girls were found fending for themselves in the Veto Lake area of Washington County Ohio.
This young lady has a brown tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and a pretty face with golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers.
Kitty was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on October 12, 2024. She weighed 8.6 lbs that day. Kitty was given booster vaccines on October 26, 2024.
These photos of Kitty were taken on October 12th shortly after her arrival. She actually has a friendly, rather demure, personality but was understandably a little apprehensive about finding herself in an unfamiliar place.
Kitty and her bestie (Bunny) are very bonded with each other, and they depend upon each other for comfort and a sense of security. They have been kept together and are always snuggled up as close to each other as possible. We feel that it is in their best interest to be adopted as a bonded pair.
Kitty and Bunny will be spayed before being adopted by their new family.
Update: It appears that (sigh) there is a possibility that Kitty and Bunny are both pregnant, so they have been moved into a more quiet area of shelter (together, of course) where our HSOV Kennel Techs can keep a close watch on them.
Kitty and Bunny are available for rescue only at the present time.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
