Looking for a dog who will make you laugh every day? Look no further than Lorenzo Loyal, this goofy, gregarious and happy boy is looking for a family to call his own.

Lorenzo is a medium energy pup who loves to play just as much as he loves to snuggle. He is a playful boy and loves to romp around the yard, or pack walk with his doggy friends. If his doggy friends aren’t around to play Lorenzo easily entertains himself with toys. With his gentle disposition he would likely be fine with dog savvy cats. He can be shy at first, but he quickly opens up to new friends especially when treats are involved! Lorenzo absolutely adores children, he patiently waits for pets and loves playing with them. He enjoys his daily afternoon walks and his weekend hikes with his foster family. He is making strides with his leash walking skills.

Lorenzo is a smart boy who is quickly learning basic manners.  He has already learned “sit” and “lay down” for a treat. He is mostly crate trained, and may whine for a few minutes before settling. He is crated throughout the work day when his foster is out and sleeps in his crate overnight. Lorenzo fully house trained and has quickly learned to cue at the door when he needs to go potty. He will thrive in a family that is patient, loving and willing to continue working on his basic training.

Fun fact Lorenzo  wagged his tail so much he developed a “happy tail” and now continues to wag his mini tail every chance he gets. Is this happy go lucky boy the one for you?

More about this rescue

Our mission at Last Hope K9 Rescue is to save every possible dog we can from being euthanized within high-volume kill shelters throughout the U.S.

As the literal “last hope” of nearly every animal we serve, we work tirelessly to place each one within a stable, loving environment that can act as either their forever home, or the gateway to their forever home. We also strive to ensure that all of our adoptions and foster placements are the optimal fit for everyone involved, including our dogs. This leads to our second goal: enriching human lives through canine companionship. To us, you can’t have one without the other.

Lastly, we promote animal welfare by lobbying important initiatives that both protect and give voice to the voiceless. By fostering an environment of collaboration with other organizations that share our goals, and working together instead of in competition, we find that we accomplish more.
