My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maryland is one of Molly's puppies, and dare we say one of the chillest puppies you'll ever meet! She is a low-energy pup with a very relaxed demeanor, who can still find time for a quick evening session of the zoomies if the mood is just right. She absolutely loves to snuggle up next to you on the couch, but also enjoys getting some fresh air on a nice walk outside where she can sniff around. Maryland enjoys her chew toys, and really loves her belly rubs and ear scratches. She's relatively quiet, but will let you know if she has something to say. Her crate training is going very well. At night, she will gently signal to let you know when she has to go potty, but otherwise settles quickly. And once you pick up on her queues, daytime accidents are minimal, which is quite impressive given her small size. Maryland does well with other dogs and seems to gain confidence from her trusted friends. She bonds strongly with both people and other dogs. And she has the cutest little curly Q tail. She really just wants to love and be loved, and would make a great companion for anyone looking for that missing piece in their life!

Maryland is being fostered in Limerick (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania and will be ready to head to her furever home on or after 11/23/2024.

More about this rescue

We believe that every dog, regardless of health, deserves at least a fighting chance to live, to love and to be loved for the entirety of their life. At Mostly Muttz Rescue, we often choose to save dogs suffering from curable illnesses within the shelter system rather than rescuing dogs that will be easy to place.
