My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous yellow lab mix pup is Spirit and he is one of our HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS dogs! If you adopt Spirit before January 1, the adoption fee will be half-price! He is 7-months-old and weighs 40 lb. We expect he will be about 55 lb full grown. What a fantastic pup! Spirit is super affectionate, likes toys and cuddles. He is a happy-go-lucky puppy and would benefit from somebody who is ready to take on a young and energetic pup to train and teach new things. He would do great in a home with dog-savvy children with consideration to his puppy energy. Spirit can be a little shy when he first meets someone new at the shelter, but once he gets into a home, he is going to thrive. Spirit would love to have a dog friend to play with, but might be too much for an older, lower energy dog. Spirit is fine with cats. Spirit is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. If you would like to meet/adopt Spirit, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-forms. Email daws@daws.org if you need assistance or have any questions.
