We are not sure what breed 4 year old Nugget is, but we think he may be a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix. We wish they had a breed called "Sweet" as Nugget would be a perfect example of the breed. Nugget was surrendered to a shelter due to owner health. The shelter manager said It was a very sad day when the owner turned him in with many tears. She loved him dearly. Nugget gets along with other dogs his size and he runs and plays with the other dogs in the foster's home. He requires a secure fenced-in yard where he can concentrate on just having fun, running and romping around with other members of the pack. Nuggett is also okay with the resident cats and we think he would be okay with older children as well.
