My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

12/10/24.  We are desperate to find a local foster for our beautiful lady UMA, who needs a soft place to land.

UMA is another Redlands dump found with a mass on her bladder, and fortunately, she was able to make her way to us. She is about 4-5 years old, incredibly sweet, and loves to carry around her stuffy babies. While she likes other dogs, she would be best as the only dog for now but may do well with another male her size.

No small dogs or cats. Good with older children.

She is spayed. We are still awaiting the results of her bladder mass biopsy and would love to find her a comfy spot for her and her "stuffy babies." She has a lot of love to give! Let's get UMA home for the holidays!

11/9/24.  Uma, a 6-year-old dog, was discovered in the Redlands and is scheduled for spaying and the removal of some growths. She is a sweet and calm lady who gets along with other dogs, but her interaction with cats is unknown.

Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
