My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hailey Jo is a super affectionate girl who loves to snuggle with her humans! Hailey Jo can be nervous at first and will take some time to warm up. But once she does, she is the best friend you could ever ask for! She enjoys snacks and belly rubs. She happily explores the yard with her person and will do some zoomies once she gets comfortable! Hailey Jo is part of our Sit, Stay Adopt! program; please contact Emily Herr at herre@bloomington.in.gov if you're interested in setting up a meeting!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.

Go meet their pets

More about this shelter

The shelter has very active volunteer and foster programs. Volunteers walk dogs and help with cat care. Fosters take young, shy and injured animals into their homes to prepare them for adoption. Learn more on our website and consider getting involved today!
