Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Thank you for your interest in Milo! At just 10 months old, Milo found himself in a shelter in Quebec, where life became overwhelming for him. He was frightened, surrounded by barking dogs, and only strangers to greet him. We don’t know what led Milo to the shelter, but what we do know is that he was struggling there, and the shelter staff could see he’d flourish much better in a home environment. They knew he just needed a family willing to give him the time and space to feel safe and comfortable. Of course, we had to step in to help him!

Each adoptive family will complete an application, come out to meet the available dog(s) and then email us after the meeting to let us know their intentions to pursue the adoption. We will do a home visit, check their references and then decide on the best home for each dog. Once a home is chosen, the family will sign our adoption contract and pay the $450 adoption fee prior to taking their new family member home with them!

SPIN strives to educate and raise public awareness about how to be responsible for and share your life with a companion animal. We talk about the importance of spay/neuter programs, the deplorable conditions found in puppy mills and advocate for change. We are most proud, however, of our work in engaging like-minded people together by providing a forum to discuss how to care for and celebrate the poodle breed, but also to come together when necessary to help poodles in need.
