Hi there I’m Amber and I am the sweetest, gentlest, little lady.
I am house trained, not destructive and I prefer to not be in a kennel after spending so many years in one.
I am looking for someone who is patient and calm and ok with giving me lots of time and space to learn to trust them. I would love to find someone to love me even though I’m not very confident yet. Because I’m cautious, and quick movements and loud noises still scare me I would be best suited to a quiet home in a quieter area with no children and lower activity.
I get along well with the cat that lives here and I’m also good with other dogs as long as they are gentle, I’m a retired Momma so I have no interest in rough play. I do like to have a confident doggie friend to follow around and learn things from though!
I’m a shy girl and just try really hard to stay out of the way, but I’m sure there is someone out there that is just perfect for me.

*Needs a calm, patient household willing to ease her out of her skittishness
-Will bark at noises or movement
-Needs calm, slow socialization with people and animals
-would benefit from a calm companion dog

Application, reference checks, home visits, and then a meeting or more before adoption. We DO charge an adoption fee. Our dogs are not Free!
All dogs are:
*spayed/neutered
*vaccinated DHPP+Rabies
*dewormed
*microchipped
*start flea prevention (during flea season)
*of course take care of medical issues/surgeries as needed
* Our dogs are loved in foster homes in the GTA and Surrounding area

We do not adopt out intact dogs so do not ask!

More about this rescue

We rescue mainly Bulldogs and other flat faced dogs!!!! We love the breeds and know they sometimes need extra care and love. Before you consider any of these breeds you should get familiar with the terms; cherry eye, entropian, dry eye, heat stroke, bloat, cruciate and know that sometimes these breeds can develop or have these issues. Also remember they drool, snore, pass gas and breath heavy this is not for everyone, but for us it is normal!
