My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rudolph is an adorable young male German Shepherd and Australian Cattle Dog mix, born on September 10, 2024. With his goofy, playful personality and love for belly rubs, Rudolph is sure to bring joy and laughter to any home. Rudolph currently weighs 10 pounds, he is expected to grow to approximately 50 pounds as he matures.  His affectionate nature and outgoing demeanor make him an ideal companion for families who enjoy an active lifestyle and are ready for a furry friend who loves to be the center of attention.

Things to Know About Husky and Cattle Dog Mixes

Huskies are known for their striking appearance, intelligence, and energetic nature. They are independent yet affectionate dogs that thrive in environments where they can engage in physical activities. Huskies are social creatures that enjoy being part of a pack, making them great companions for active families.

Australian Cattle Dogs, on the other hand, are renowned for their high energy levels, intelligence, and herding instincts. They are loyal and protective, often forming strong bonds with their families. Cattle Dogs require both mental and physical stimulation to keep them happy and healthy.

A mix of these breeds results in a dog that is energetic, intelligent, and eager to please, requiring plenty of exercise and engagement.

More about this rescue

We are dedicated to saving dogs from high kill shelters, strays, owner surrenders and hoarders. We have been saving animals since December 2016. We hold weekly adoption events at various pet stores and pet expos. We hire dog walkers to walk our dogs and we have volunteers who help us weekly. Many of our dogs go to boarding and training to become adoptable and work on their behavioral issues. All our dogs are assessed to find a great family match.

All dogs receive all necessary medical attention and all dogs are vetted.
