My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lou Lou came to DHS after her owner could no longer properly give her the life she deserved. Lou Lou's mom was a Amish rescue, lab mix that was taken in, and had puppies with an unknown father.
Lou Lou had found a home as a puppy but returned back at 1 year old. Lou Lou is a super sweet girl who takes a little time to warm up to new people. When she is happy to see you she will smile! It is the cutest!
Lou Lou has lived with other dogs, cats and children. Lou Lou was not taught many manners as a young girl, but with the right training and consistency she will make a loving smart companion!
Lou Lou has lived both inside and outside she is not fully potty trained but is crate trained.
Lou Lou has been a little nervous here at the shelter, an would benefit from a foster home to help her become more comfortable with strangers, and positive training.

“I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy’s team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle me into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).”
