My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Applications are at codys_adoption_application.

Meet sweet little Fifi!  She fits her name perfectly.  She is gentle and loving and so stinking cute!  At two years old she is past the puppy phase and does not chew on anything or have the puppy energy.  She does get the zoomies once in a while though!

Fifi was found wondering the streets and was luckily scooped up before she was hit by a car.  She absolutly loves to cuddle and doesn't mind being babied one bit!  Fifi is doing well with house training and as long as we take her out every few hours she does not make a mess inside.  She currently lives with her foster parents, children ages 7-12, three other dogs from large to tiny and old to young, and one cat.  She wants to play with our little dog but he's not interested and she doesn't bother him much and she doesn't pay much attention to the cat.  Fifi does seem to especially love the children and has attached to them a lot.  She needs her furever home where she will be adored and loved! She would be best suited in a quiet home where there are few strangers coming and going and she adores females.  She is so cuddly.  She loves to go on walks and run around in the back yard.  All she wants is love.  Appplications are at codysfriendsrescue.org

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Thank you for adopting and not buying!!! Every week hundreds of highly adoptabledogs are put to death by local shelters. Most people would be amazed at the purebred and beautiful dogs available, if they walked into their neighborhood shelter.

Rescue organizations, like mine, work hard to save as many as we possibly can but is a never ending process with breeders and Puppy Mills selling unhealthy animals to the public. If you EVER saw a puppy mill you would NEVER buy again!

All of my dogs are neutered or spayed, vet checked, completely vaccinated, wormed, groomed and checked for heart worms. They are all are current on Heart worm medicine, flea, and tick medications. They are all microchipped as well.

Adoption fee is $300 to $350 (older "friends' can be less, please inquire. Puppies are $350 - Besides fully vetting all dogs, some of of the dogs I rescue, 1 in 5 I rescue have heart worms which is very expensive to treat. I also take in dogs who need surgeries and are close to death.

More about this rescue

About us: Cody was the first pet I owned as an adult. He was a Shih Tzu that I bought unknowingly, from a Puppy Mill. He fought for his life and barely survived, suffering for the first few months of his life. From then on I was stirred by a ferocious passion to save as many dogs as I could through networking with other rescue groups and saving the ones I could off of cold streets and unwanted in shelters. Cody did not live a very long life due to a weakened body, but I was able to love on him for eight good years! He will always be loved and forever remembered. With over 400 dogs rescued so far, we ARE making a difference!!
Thank you for visiting and considering a rescue........................
