My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~

Health: ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam *****
Temperament:
Introducing Toasty, a super cute little guy weighing in at just 6 lbs! This adorable 3-year-old is ready to find his forever home and is bursting with potential. Toasty has spent most of his life living outside, which has made him a bit unsure of people. But don't let that fool you—deep down, he truly longs for love and companionship!

Toasty absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a friendly, confident canine companion who can help show him the ropes. With a little time, patience, and understanding, we believe Toasty will blossom into the best little doggy you could ever ask for. You can see it in his eyes; he wants to come up for cuddles and affection, but he just needs the right environment to build his trust.

If you're looking for a sweet, gentle soul who needs a loving home to help him overcome his shyness, Toasty is the perfect match for you. Together, you can create a bond that will last a lifetime. Are you ready to open your heart and home to this precious little guy? Apply today for Toasty and see how he can light up your life!  --

Where did he come from: Owner was being evicted and the dogs were being kept outdoors and had to go!

 Adoption: ***** $700.00 ***** Weight: 6.7 lbs. Approximate age: 11/6/2021

Additional adoption info

Please allow up to 72 hours for a response.

Adopting one of our dogs requires that you fill out an adoption application, have your references checked, and let us visit your home.

The required minimum adoption donation is $250. That amount covers the spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, heartworm testing, and one month of heart worm preventative.

We spend about $300.00 just to treat the pommies that are heartworm positive. We have invested more than $1000.00 in several of our pommies--treating them and kenneling them. Kenneling cost $16 a day per dog. We need foster homes!
