My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Biscuit is a handsome (albeit naked) Maltese Shih Tzu mix who's about 2 years old and weighs 10 pounds. He was a stray that we sprung from Lancaster shelter. I've posted his mugshot so you can get some idea of what he'll look like with hair. Unfortunately the shelter shaved him to the bone before we could get him out :(( Please peeps, look past the way he looks now and envision him with a beautiful soft non-shedding coat. Biscuit has beautiful eyes that look right into your heart and express his gratitude for a second chance. He's super affectionate and although he's initially shy when meeting new people right now, after a few pets and reassuring words, he relaxes and is social. Biscuit is great with other dogs and good on a leash. He has a sweet, docile temperament and would be good with kids. Another unique characteristic Biscuit has besides the hazel eyes is a crooked jaw. The vet says it's congenital. We think it's charming, but if you're not a fan, his hair will camouflage it once it grows. Biscuit has all his shots, is neutered and microchipped - and is ready for his FOREVER home! Additional adoption info

We require a completed adoption application available on our website. We will request either a veterinarian contact or two personal references.

Our adoption donation is $425 for young and adult dogs and $350 for seniors. Each of our dogs is spayed or neutered, health checked by a veterinarian, teeth are cleaned if necessary, microchipped, groomed and are current on all shots. They also come with a leash, collar and harness.
