This helps Mutts N Such Rescue with pet care costs.
This sweet pup is Shira, found abandoned in a ditch in East Texas with her two litter mates. At six weeks old, they were covered in fleas, malnourished, and battling mange. With the help of their rescuer and Mutts N Such, Shira and her siblings got started with treatment, baths, food, and lots of love. They are now healthy and thriving, ready for loving families.
Shira is the quietest of the litter, sitting back and watching her siblings and humans with her soulful brown eyes. She is certainly playful with her siblings, wrestling and “arguing” over who gets to stand in the water bowl. She is also equally happy to get a chew toy and move to a quiet spot while her siblings romp a little more. Shira loves to be held and talked to, leaning into her foster mom as soon as she is picked up. Shira is definitely ready for her forever family, one who will be patient with her while she masters potty and leash training and one who can cherish a pup who likes equally the trio of cuddles, quiet times, and playing. Shira was born in August 2024 and is located in a foster home in Fort Worth, Texas.
OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.
