Meet Dolly, the cat who acts like a dog! She greets you at the door, keeps a kindly protective watch, and prefers to be with her people. Dolly loves to cuddle up for naps and serenades the home with her vocal talents, just like her namesake, Dolly Parton. This grey, brown, and white dilute tortoiseshell one-year-old Domestic Short Hair beauty is a rare find, both in looks and personality. Dolly has an energetic and affectionate nature that makes her stand out. Dolly’s unique personality also means she takes her time warming up to new pets. She prefers exploring, hiding, and seeking out human affection over playing with toys. Dolly enjoys listening to music during car rides, which showcases her sophisticated taste! Dolly appreciates her personal space and knows when she wants attention, making her an independent and considerate companion. She’s currently adjusting well to living with other cats, children, and new people, showing her adaptability and patience. Dolly will flourish in a home where she has the freedom to roam and explore. She can adapt to a quiet home or a lively one with children, as long as she has plenty of space to be herself. If you’re looking for a loving, vocal companion who’s always ready to greet you with enthusiasm, Dolly is your perfect match!

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
