My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Crowley is a 1-year-7-month-old lab, shepherd mix who weighed just under 60lbs at intake!

11/09/24 The dog now known as Crowley Crockett is back at the shelter because he was too hyper and plays too rough. Crowley was said to be very playful, but he can get too amped up and has a hard time calming down once he reaches that high stimulation. Crowley is looking for an active home that can help him channel this energy. He would also do best in a home without other dogs and with older children. Crowley was said to be housebroken, but he could stand to work on his other indoor manners. He has been known to jump on people and counters and to get into the trash if given the chance. He has also been known to chew and to be vocal occasionally. He was said to ride well in the car and was described as being outgoing, freindly and affectionate. If you think you have what it takes to keep up with rowdy guy, please give us a call!

09/21/24 Mister Crowley is back due to no fault of his own. His previous owners encountered circumstances beyond their control that took too much time away form him. Crowley is a very energetic boy who loves everyone he meets! He does need to learn some manners, as he likes to jump on people and can be vocal at times. He would love to go to a basic obedience class with a certified trainer, especially because he hears you get lots of snacks there! Crowley knows some basic commands, such as sit, shake and lay down. He was said to be housebroken and will bark or whine when he needs to go. If you are interested in meeting this spunky little guy, please give the shelter a call!

02/10/24 This handsome guy is Crowley! Crowley came to the shelter as a stray, so we do not know much about him. He has been super sweet with all of his animal tenders while at the shelter. We do not know how Crowley does with children or other animals, so please use caution if introducing him to any. This young guy with his big ears is sure to win you over! He has been doing a good job of keeping his kennel clean here at the shelter, but we do not know for sure if he is housebroken. Crowley is quite playful and can be mouthy at times. He is looking for an owner who can continue to work with him. His finder also noted that he is quite a chewer. Unfortunately, Crowley had to spend some time with one of our amazing fosters as he recovered from parvovirus. While he has recovered and his back to his bouncy normal self, Crowley may still shed the virus intermittently for several months. Any dogs in his next home should be fully vaccinated adults. If you are interested in meeting Crowley, please give the shelter a call!November 11, 2024, 8:56 pm
