Meet Wayne! This brave boy was very nervous when he first came into the shelter but is starting to build his confidence, approaching volunteers with a waggy tail in pursuit of yummy treats, and allowing gentle pets. He is a curious pup, interested in taking in all the smells, and has done well with other calm dogs at the shelter. While one of Wayne’s back legs appears to be underdeveloped (likely a congenital issue rather than an injury), he gets around just fine on his other three legs. He will do best with an experienced adopter in a calm environment without too many stairs, ideally with a well-matched dog buddy to show him the ropes.
