Midnight is a sweet, older gentleman whose human dad passed away. He enjoys both his independence and lap time. He very excitedly climbs on his foster mom’s lap and purrs loudly whenever she comes in his room. He likes to sleep on hard surfaces and no amount of coaxing will convince him a bed is better, though he will pose on a bed long enough for a picture. He has hyperthyroidism, but is the easiest cat in the world to medicate. He gets liquid medicine mixed with baby food and eats it all eagerly and has a healthy appetite. He is mostly deaf, which means you can change his name if you’d like and it won’t make a bit of difference in how he responds to you. He’s curious about the other cats in his foster home and the nose-to-nose introductions through a crack in the door have all gone well. Midnight needs a retirement home, with or without other cats, and a human to love him.

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit: https://fancycats.org/volunteer
