My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth:8/3/2024

Description:

Sprint started out itty-bitty, but boy, did he catch up fast. The runt of his litter, he had to be scrappy to survive in his feral cat colony. He and his littermates were found very early and put on a nursing mama in foster care. He quickly caught up and became the most loving kitten in the group.

Sprint has medium-length, glossy black fur with a few sparkling glimmers of white hairs sprinkled throughout. He is going to be quite a handsome adult with his round head and fluffy tail.

Quite happy to curl up in his person’s lap, he is equally happy to tackle his littermates or sprint up a cat tree at the speed of light. He has a hearty appetite and is a big water drinker. His foster home diet is Nulo kibble and Fancy Feast canned food. Sprint has consistently good litterbox habits.

Words to Describe Me: Active, typical kitten

Favorite Place to Sleep: With his person or in a secluded cave

Favorite Toy: All interactive toys, plastic springs

Additional adoption info

Go meet their pets

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
