My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth:8/3/2024

Description:

A Blossom should be a delicate little flower, right? Not so much. She’s a rough-and-tumble kitten with lots of energy, but she will curl up in her person’s lap and settle into a steady purr at a moment’s notice. Blossom is a cuddler on one hand, and a determined adventurer on the other. She can dart from place to place with amazing speed. She would love a family and other cats to play with every day.

Her sleek, Sphynx-like body, oversized ears, and long, long tail make her look exotic. She would have been worshiped by the ancient Egyptians. But she’s a sweet, playful, gray-and-black striped tabby kitten with a defined “M” on her face and she has no thoughts about being put on a pedestal.

Blossom has been raised on Nulo cat and kitten kibble and Fancy Feast canned food. She is a huge water drinker. She loves toys of all kinds and is quite competitive with her littermates in games of chase and wrestle. Blossom is definitely not a shrinking violet.

Words to Describe Me: Pretty normal kitten behavior - active, curious

Favorite Place to Sleep: Cat tree or soft blanket

Favorite Toy: Loves interactive toys

Perfect Day: Activity time, lots of nap time, wrestling with siblings

Kitty's Likes: Likes to be handled, cuddled, snuggled

Kitty's Dislikes: Does not like restraint

Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Just touch her

When I Grow Up, I Want to Be: Loved

  • Good with Cats:  Loves cats.

  • Good with Dogs: Unknown, but optimistic (Animal has not met any dogs.)

  • Good with Children: Unknown, but optimistic (Animal has not met any children.)

Additional adoption info

We will adopt to out of state adopters but we do NOT ship animals under any conditions. You must come to us in person to meet the animal and make sure it is a mutual match. We have had many adopters come from the states around us and drive or fly with their new family member back.

Go meet their pets

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
