Baby Blaze was trapped as part of TNR project in Far Rockaway. Within a few days while recovering from her spay, she began showing calm curiosity towards people. Her confidence, ease & sweetness continues to grow.
Blaze is playful and will tell you all about it! She fishes through the bars of her crate when you are near, is curious about toys & treats and a VERY good eater! She' s bright-eyed & will be calling out to you with "mews" as soon as you enter the room. She enjoys being petted, rubs up against the bars of her crate with greetings and is all-around a very sweet & lively little cat.
Baby Blaze would be a great fit for a home where she can safely play & explore. As a very young cat, she's learning indoor life -- and it would be wonderful to have a patient, attentive human (or humans!) to guide her, giving her lots of interaction... whether it' s playtime... or teaching her about laps & naps too. She is showing herself to be a sweet young cat, ready to grow & bond in a loving home.
Baby Blaze is about 5 months old, tested, vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. She can be adopted solo, with her sister Cleo Pink (check our post 2 days ago), or to a home with a playful young cat!
All cats and kittens are rescued from the streets, abandoned, or pulled from at-risk list at city shelter. All are vaccinated, tested for FIV and FELV, dewormed, and spayed/neutered (if old enough). If the kitten is not old enough to be spayed/neutered we will do so at a later date, post-adoption. All adoptions require an application and donation.
