Mittens is about a year 1/2 old. We got her in June of 2023. We've kept her as an indoor cat this whole time, but a few months ago, she apparently got out while I was not home. My partner says she ran out the door and tried to fight two cats she saw when my partner went outside to smoke and then after beating up the other two cats, she ran back in and was yowling and defensive and would not let my partner enter the house without attacking her. I was texted to come to the rescue, my partner immediately wanted to put her down but I was able to grab her and isolate her overnight and the next day, everything seemed fine. Then a month later, Mittens randomly triggered on my partner again, attacking her. This has been an issue since. Mittens is traumatized, but does not trigger on anyone else in the house, just my partner. My partner wants to put her down if I can't find a home for her.
