Meet Banksey!

Banksey is a 4 month old (born June 22/24 approx.) DSH tuxedo kitten. He is house-trained, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. He has one vaccination booster left so until then will be part of MAR's Foster-to-Adopt program.

Banksey is a very playful yet gentle kitten. He can be a little nervous, especially around new people so we're looking for a home that understands that. Despite his nervous disposition, he's quick to engage in a game of chase with a feather toy or a friendly wrestling match with a soft toy mouse. His innocent charm is captivating, and his gentle purrs will melt your heart. Banksey is not just a kitten, he's a little bundle of joy waiting to fill your home with laughter and love. Adopting Banksey is not just about giving a kitten a home, it's about welcoming a new family member who will bring endless joy and companionship. He is good with other cats but hasn't been exposed to small children or dogs. We think he would do well with older children and respectful dogs.

Step 5: Home Visit

As we are a rescue group, we don't have a shelter, just loving foster homes throughout Muskoka. Please contact us to make an appointment to see an animal.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based, donation-only service that provides adoption services for people who are looking for a new furry addition to their family. We also provide non-judgemental, supportive help for people who are surrendering their companion animals.

We provide free advice and suggestions to people who are experiencing issues with their pets, including but not limited to behavioural issues, training advice, surrender help, and much more: spay/neuter education, advice and referrals.

We have a screening process that includes an application, telephone screen and a home visit to make sure the people are "as good as they sound on the phone". We also contact their vet and do a reference check.

We are committed to helping people find homes for their pets because we care about our community and love animals.
