Rehoming Rajah has been an extremely difficult decision for us, as we love our buddy. He is a loyal, loving, playful and sweet boy. He loves nothing more than to please and protect his people. He enjoys long walks and hikes, snuggling on the couch and getting head rubs, and most of all playing fetch! He has lots of love to give.
Our family adopted Rajah as a 1.5 year old dog after he was abandoned and picked up by a shelter. He had signs of abuse/neglect and as a result, anxiety and protective behaviors. We worked with a trainer for a few years who helped us address his anxiety and make him feel more comfortable welcoming visitors into our home.
The ideal home for Raj would be an active family who have experience with dogs who were abused/have protective tendancies. He has come a long way, but will show aggression to visitors if he feels threatened. We think that Raj could benefit from working with a trainer to help him settle into his new home (would be willing to compensate)
