My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Davina, the fluffiest Husky girl with one bright blue eye, one warm brown eye, and a heart as big as my beautiful coat! I'm 8 years young, which means I've got just the right mix of playful pep and cozy snuggle vibes.

I'm a superstar with my tricks (sit and down, here I come!), especially if you're holding some string cheese-my all-time favorite treat! I love to lounge outside and soak up the sunshine, but I'm always up for a walk to explore with you. I'm great with both dog and cat friends, and I'm housebroken, too-what more could you ask for?

If you're looking for a gentle, loving, and oh-so-adorable buddy to light up your life, I'm your girl. Can't wait to meet my forever family and show you all my cuddles and kisses!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
