My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sausage is one of part of the Breakfast Club… 5 pups found living under a mobile home in West Dallas. After a long day, they were caught and taken to a wonderful foster.

He arrived dirty, flea ridden and scared. After 2+ weeks of good food, good care and love, he is happy, roly poly, playful and ready to find his forever home!

The puppies are now about 11 weeks old. Sausage and Biscuit are in the same foster home. Sausage is a burly little guy and very protective of his sister Biscuit. She was initially very shy but has really blossomed in the last week. They now run to the foster for pets and affection.

The puppies have had their first puppy shots and will need two more, which Duck Team 6 will pay cover. In addition, the puppies will need to be spayed/neutered when they are 6 months old which Duck Team 6 will also cover.

Our adoption fee of $200 covers vaccinations (3 rounds for puppies), de-wormer, microchip and spay/neuter. Requirements include completed application and a home visit. Submitting an application does not guarantee anything as we strive to make sure it's an ideal fit for both the dog and the family. Thanks for your understanding!

More about this rescue

Our niche is rescuing elusive dogs who have been living on the streets of Dallas, Tx. We spend days, weeks and sometimes months trying to catch a certain dog. The dogs then move into loving foster homes so they can be part of a family and learn more about home life. We have found that these dogs are extremely resilient and quickly adapt to life off the streets and make great additions to a family!

The dogs are vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed/neutered and heartworm tested (and treated if positive). We spend a lot of time and energy getting these dogs off the streets so are very diligent in who they go to. We want to make sure it's going to be the ideal fit for both the adopter and the dog.
