My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Wilder: Your Next Adventure Buddy

Hi there! They call me Wilder, and at just one year old, I'm in my prime time for finding my perfect match. As a pit mix, I'm all about that perfect blend of playful energy and couch-potato cuddles.

Let me tell you a bit about myself: I'm the kind of guy who believes life should be fun. Tug of war? I'm your champion. Fetch? Let's go all day. And don't even get me started on my bone collection – it's my pride and joy. But don't let my playful side fool you – I'm also a certified professional at Netflix marathons and sofa snuggles.

Now, I should mention that I'm a bit of a ladies' man. I get along great with the female 4 legged babes, but I prefer to be the only gentleman in their lives. What can I say? I know what I want!

My foster mom says I'm quite the accomplished fellow. I've mastered all the basics – I'm house-trained (I'll politely paw at the door when nature calls), I know commands like "sit" and "paw," and I'm a perfect gentleman during car rides and walks.

Home life? I've got that down pat too. I'm crate-trained and while I might express my opinions about it briefly (a guy's got to say what's on his mind), I settle down quickly. I'm looking for a home where I can continue being the best boy I can be – maybe with someone who loves hiking and wouldn't mind sharing their bed with a snuggly pup.

Could you be my perfect match? Let's find out!

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
