Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Jolene is a pretty, 11-year-old tortie girl who arrived from our rescue partner in Corinna, Maine. Active and agile, she often can be found perched up on high shelves. Jolene is a bit shy to start, but with some patience, you will see her loving and playful side emerge! For this reason, we recommend the person who adopts her be an experienced cat owner who is patient and who will help her build confidence as she acclimates to her new home and family. As she spends more time at the shelter, we have seen a more confident and playful kitty who is waiting for her new family! She is not a fan of most other cats, and since she currently shares a room with quite a few roommates, she may not reveal her silly, playful side to you right away. Offer her a dangle toy, though, and you’ll get an idea of her fun personality and acrobatic ability.
Jolene is not a fan of dogs and will quickly attack them. She must go to a dog free home.
Jolene does have some constipation issues, but we have found that feeding her a wet food only diet and giving her a little Miralax in her food once to twice per day does the trick.
Please complete an adoption application and come in to meet this gorgeous kitty in Room 4.
