My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are rehoming Poppy because we have a one year old daughter and a boy on the way in March, and we are not able to provide Poppy with the attention she needs to have a fulfilling life.

We adopted Poppy from a rescue. She is very friendly and almost 2 yrs old, so very energetic. She is also 65 pounds of pure muscle, so while she does good on walks, if she decides to chase something, you really have to brace yourself. She will enthusiastically love humans she knows, but takes some training to get to know new people. She will get anxious and bark if a stranger tries to pet her, but mostly avoids people/dogs on walks. She is not familiar with small children, so she needs extra supervision if children are around, running, screaming, etc. Poppy is house and crate trained.
