MEET MIKO, a handsome black-and-white German Shepherd mix who has waited too long for a home. Miko is a 9-year-old boy who was surrendered a few years ago to a high-kill shelter, because his owner did not want to pay for a dog license. He is great with people but a bit timid with other dogs, perhaps due to his sad history. Miko would thrive with a person or people in a quiet home, where he can be doted on in his senior years.
