Meet Nash, a big-hearted 8-year-old American Staffordshire mix with a gentle soul and a heart of gold! At 79 lbs, Nash is looking to shed a few pounds and is already committed to getting fit with the help of his new family. Life changed for him when he was surrendered to another shelter a year ago, where he has been patiently waiting for the right person to see his sweet potential. Nash is taking a little time to adjust to his new surroundings now that he’s at Sammy’s Hope, but once he feels comfortable with someone, he's all about the love. He’s a great walking buddy, loves belly rubs, and has a soft spot for treats. Nash can’t wait to meet you! If you are interested in meeting Nash, please complete an interest form. Adopters can meet our animals 7 days per week at our Sayreville, NJ facility. All adopters are asked to fill out an adoption application survey to find their perfect match. Surveys can be filled out in person at the shelter, or through our online form. All pets are spayed/neutered and receive age-appropriate vaccinations before going home. Adoption fees are $125 for cats and $250 for dogs.

Sammy's Hope Animal Welfare & Adoption Center is privately-operated animal shelter, staffed and supported by volunteers, that helps care for and find Forever Homes for homeless animals. We work with local NJ municipal animal shelters to help alleviate their overcrowding and find homeless pets their Forever Families.

Sammy's Hope is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Thank you!
