My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mateo is a 2-3-year-old, 40-pound bundle of love with a mellow, easygoing personality, making him the perfect companion. Fully potty and crate-trained, he’s never had an accident in his foster home and knows all basic commands, proving himself to be well-mannered and loyal.

Mateo is a quiet, affectionate boy who adores snuggles, naps, butt scratches, chewing on bones, and taking short walks around the block. He does best with female dogs, as he’s selective with canine friends, and he prefers a calm, cat-free home due to his interest in chasing cats.

Mateo is also making strides in socializing in public and rides well in cars, making outings with him a joy. His foster mom describes him as incredibly sweet and gentle, always seeking affection and often asking for hugs by resting his head and body in your lap. Mateo’s ideal forever home would be a peaceful, loving environment with someone who cherishes his snuggly nature and appreciates a loyal, low-key companion.
