My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Why isn't anyone adopting Harper?"" is a question we ask often around the shelter. Harper is a distinguished old man with a heart of gold. He loves every single one of his human friends, thinks stuffed toys are delightful and will likely be one of the easiest dogs you ever love. Sure, Harper isn't into other cats or dogs but that literally the only silly thing about him. We'd love to introduce you to this basically perfect boy so you can spend the rest of his days admiring him.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.

More about this shelter

The shelter has very active volunteer and foster programs. Volunteers walk dogs and help with cat care. Fosters take young, shy and injured animals into their homes to prepare them for adoption. Learn more on our website and consider getting involved today!
