Pop-Tart is a great little puppy who started life out homeless along with her mama in rural Louisiana. She is full of energy but easy going. One of her favorite things to do in her foster home is to get up in a lawn chair on the porch so she can just sit and see everything. She is currently with lots of other dogs and also a couple of cats and she does very well with all of them. Her favorite friend is a big yellow lab and she loves to snuggle with the other dogs. Pop-Tart is still a little tentative about human affection, but coming around. It helps that she is extremely food motivated and she is more likely to come up for pets amongst the other dogs while they are getting them. She has had zero accidents in house and is comfortable being crated when the family is away. She loves toys and will wait for her people to throw them and she shares them easily with the other dogs. Although Pop-Tart does reasonably well on leash for a beagle, we would really like her to have a fenced yard because she can be quite timid in new environments. Mostly, Pop-Tart needs the company of other dogs, a quiet and calm environment and patient, gentle people. She is spayed and ready to go on a sleepover.

The SouthEast Beagle Rescue Inc is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding new loving homes for unwanted, abandoned and abused Beagles and Beagle mixed dogs. We strive to reduce pet overpopulation by spaying/neutering our Beagles prior to adoption. We shall also be a resource to the community for information on the Beagle breed.
