My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to sweet Henry, an adorable, easygoing tabby boy with the softest fur you can imagine! This gentle soul loves to play and relax on a windowsill where he can watch the birds outside and daydream.

Henry is quite shy and will take some time to warm up, but he enjoys being petted and curling up next to you once he feels safe. Because of his shyness, it is even more rewarding when he lets you pet him and and invites you to play.

Henry will thrive in a quiet home with a patient adopter who will give him the space he needs to settle in and feel comfortable. The main thing this sweet, shy boy is needs reassurance that he is safe and loved in order to relax and enjoy the good life.

Rescued by one of our fosters in Far Rockaway, Henry has been indoors since he was young, but he is still somewhat scared after his life on the street. But his foster mom says he's eager to be loved and come out of his shell!

Henry is 3 years old and healthy, fiv-/felv-, neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and ready for a wonderful furrever home!

If you would like to schedule a meet & greet, please go to our application here:  https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you click on Henry, then identify Claire as the RESCUER and fill out the form!

Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel. Every dime goes to saving the next homeless angel on the street.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.
