My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abby is about 2 years old and so very sweet. She can be timid however. She enjoys a nice quiet evening watching tb on your lap or on a cozy blanket. She afraid of dogs and is startled by quick movements and noises. She warms up to the foster's toddler, so while kids are not out of the question, she may do better in a quiet home. Every Saturday (except holiday weekends) we have adoptable cats at Petco on 72nd and Dodge in Omaha from 11am-3pm. Adoptable cats also live in cages there and are available during Petco's regular business hours. We also have cats ready for adoption at Petsmart in Council Bluffs. They are available during business hours as well.

By definition, the word "solace" means "that which furnishes comfort or consolation." Coincidentally, SOLAS, although it is spelled differently, provides the same thing for many unwanted dogs, cats, and other animals living in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area. S.O.L.A.S. is a 501(c)3 Not for Profit organization.
