This helps Town and Country Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Opal is a total sweetheart! She is a super cute and curious kitten who seems to prefer her foster dad over foster mom. She does have a bit of a "torti-tude" which has worked in her favor. This princess had a medical emergency during her spay and spent the next three months in recovery. She is so stubborn she did not let her recovery slow her down. When you look at her now you would not believe this kitten used to be blind and struggled to walk. She runs and climbs over everything and then takes a nap in a sunny spot before jumping up and racing around again! She is a cuddler on her own terms, but loves to be nearby if she isn't snuggled down with a human. A box on your desk is a great place for her to nap while you work. She is a little fighter and ready to take over her new home.
The adoption fee is $150 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures.
Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary. We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws.
If you are interesed in any of our animals please fill out an application on our website www.townandcountryanimalrescue.org
After you have submitted an application and been approved, a Cat Team member will reach out to set up a “meet and greet” between you and the pet. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the cat team members or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.**
